The City of Brandon is bringing in a new app and website they say will make it easier for transit users to find the right bus for their commute and make navigating far easier.
In a release, the city said their new BDN Transit app and website will track busses in real time and update their location every 20 seconds. They’ll also update routes and offer services in multiple languages.
“This isn’t a ride-booking app; it’s a ride-empowering app,” said Carla Richardson, Director of Transportation Services. “Whether you’re heading to work, school, or across town, BDN Transit helps you choose the best route and stay informed every step of the way.”
Transit riders can also sign up to get bus departure times by text and save their favourite locations or bus routes for quick access.
