If you need to register or update your information to vote in the coming provincial byelection in Spruce Woods, you have until tomorrow to do so in order to make sure you get your voter information card in the mail.
Elections Manitoba has put out a release reminding voters to get all their information in order ahead of the election at the end of this month. The election itself will take place on Tuesday August 26.
“Eligible voters who have not already received their card — or who received a card with out-of-date information — can register or update their information until Aug. 7,” reads the release. “Voters who register or update their information during the revision period will be mailed a voter information card.”

- Download digital voter information card
- Get information on the byelection including candidates, advance and election dates, and voting options.
The provincial elections office added you can speed up the voting process by registering ahead of time (though you will still have the option to register at the polls). Advance voting will be held from Aug. 16 to 25 at the local election office, Aug. 16 to 23 in Glenboro, Aug. 19 to 20 in Souris, and Aug. 19 in Holland, Kemnay, Oak Lake, Rivers, Shilo and Wawanesa.
