Contractors are completing Phase 2 of construction at 1st Street and Maryland Avenue in Brandon, but work requires the closure to remain in effect until Monday, September 8th. Traffic and pedestrian detours will remain in place during this time.
Phase 2 of construction is focused on the west side of the roundabout and completion of all roadwork to facilitate opening the roundabout to traffic.
Phase 3 will be the last phase of construction and will begin in the fall to complete the remaining landscaping and multi-use pathway construction.
