-The Toronto Blue Jays hammered the Tampa Bay Rays 13-4 to clinch their first American League East Division title since 2015.
-The Brandon Wheat Kings return to action this coming Saturday when they host the Edmonton Oil Kings. Brandon dropped a 5-4 decision in overtime to the Prince Albert Raiders this past weekend.
-The Winnipeg Jets pre-season schedule continues Tuesday when they visit the Minnesota Wild. The Jets beat the Flames 4-2 on Saturday.
-After a 6-0 win over USB last Saturday, the Brandon University Bobcats women’s soccer team suffered their first loss of the season on Sunday dropping a 4-3 decision to Providence University College. The men’s squad lost 2-1 to USB on Saturday before rebounding Sunday with a 2-1 win against Providence.
-Emily Tuttosi from Souris and her teammates earned silver at the women’s Rugby World Cup on Saturday. England beat Canada 33-13 in the final.
-European golfers beat the Americans 15-13 to take the 2025 Ryder Cup.
-and there two NFL games tonight – the Miami Dolphins (0-3) host the New York Jets (0-3) – and the Cincinnati Bengals (2-1) visit the Denver Broncos (1-2).
