The police body cam footage of Morgan Wallen’s arrest — after he allegedly threw a chair off the roof of Eric Church’s bar in Nashville back in April 2024 — has finally been released.
As much as I condemn what he did… the video is undeniably hilarious.
First, he tries to call Eric Church mid-arrest and hands the phone to the cop. You actually hear the officer say, “Hi, Eric.”
Then Wallen keeps insisting he didn’t throw the chair — until the cop checks the security footage, sees him do it clear as day, and promptly cuffs him.
Cut to the back of the squad car… and what’s playing on the radio? His own song “Mamaw’s House” with Thomas Rhett!!
The timing is almost poetic — getting arrested while the song he wrote about his grandma plays in the background. It’s like Mamaw ‘Grandma’ herself was scolding him through the speakers LOL.
And to make it even funnier, once he noticed he couldn’t help but announce it, “This is me and Thomas Rhett! Turn it up. That’s me and TR! That’s me right there.” The proceeded to sing a couple of the words from the song and added, ‘TR is one of the best dudes in the world, he would definitely not be getting arrested.”
