-It’s a double-header weekend for the Brandon Wheat Kings. They host the Edmonton Oil Kings Saturday night (6:00 pm) – and the Saskatoon Blades Sunday afternoon (4:00 pm).
-In NHL pre-season action tonight – the Winnipeg Jets are in Calgary.
-The New York Yankees beat the Boston Red Sox 4-0 to win their AL Wild Card Series. The Yankees face the Blue Jays tomorrow for Game 1 of the best-of-5 American League East Division series.
-The Brandon University Bobcats women’s and men’s soccer team hosts the CMU Blazers on Saturday and the ACC Cougars on Sunday. The women are 6-and-1 on the season – the men 5-and-2.
-In the CFL tonight – the west division-leading Saskatchewan Roughriders visit the Ottawa Redblacks.
-In the NFL last night – the San Francisco 49’ers beat the Los Angeles Rams 26-23 in overtime.
