Ground has officially broken on the Brandon Municipal Cemetery Naturalized Stormwater Pond and Drainage Project in the open space directly east of the City of Brandon’s Cemetery.
This is now an active construction site with work taking place throughout the winter and into the summer 2026.
Aberdeen Ave. will undergo periodic closures throughout the construction period; road closures will be posted online at City of Brandon

Multi-use pathways adjacent to the construction area will remain open and accessible during construction. Please utilize the designated multi-use pathways and avoid entering the construction site.
