-The Blue Jays and Los Angeles Dodgers play Game 6 of the World Series tonight in Toronto. A Jays win and they’ll claim their first Championship since 1993.
-It’s a double-header weekend for the Brandon Wheat Kings. They’ll host the Regina Pats on Saturday at 6:00 pm and the Calgary Hitmen on Sunday at 4:00 pm.
-The Winnipeg Jets doubled the Chicago Blackhawks 6-3 last night. Tomorrow, the Jets welcome the Pittsburgh Penguins.
-The Winnipeg Blue Bombers take on the Montreal Aloutettes Saturday in the CFL East Division Semi-final. The winner will meet the Hamilton Tiger Cats in the East final. In the West Semi-final – the BC Lions host the Calgary Stampeders. The Saskatchewan Roughriders await the winner.
-In the NFL Thursday night game – The Baltimore Ravens downed the Miami Dolphins 28-6.
-The Brandon University Bobcats volleyball teams host Mount Royal University for their home openers at the Healthy Living Centre tonight. The women’s game starts at 6 p.m. followed by the National Champion men’s team at 7:45 p.m. The evening will be filled with special Halloween activities. The teams play again on Saturday. The women’s game starts at 5 p.m., followed by the men at 6:45 p.m.
