Minnedosa RCMP said a 45-year-old man has died in an accident involving an electric scooter.
According to an RCMP release, police were called to 3rd Avenue NW in Minnedosa at about 4:00 PM on November 25 with a report of an injured man. When they arrived, they found him laying on the road with an electric scooter nearby.
Emergency Medical Services treated the 45-year-old male at the scene and then transported him to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
According to police, their investigation determined the 45-year-old was travelling down 3rd Street NW on the scooter when he lost control and collided with the roadway. He was not wearing a helmet.
Police have said they will continue to investigate.
