The United Way’s Holiday Tree Auction raised a total of $42, 837.50; the highest number raised in the past 3-decades.
207-tickets were sold to the 30th annual event held at Brandon’s Victoria Inn.
A record 15-Christmas trees were also auction off by Jesse of Fraser’s Auction Mart. 2 Hockey Jerseys’ were auctioned off, Wpg Jet’s tickets and Box experience for a game in December, BWK tickets and loge box, along with passes to Dauphin’s Countryfest.
The 15 decorated Christmas Trees complete with presents will be delivered later this morning by United Way volunteers to matched families.
