Arrest Warrants
In the past 24hrs, during separate incidents, five adults were located and arrested on outstanding warrants. Two were held in custody for court; the others were processed and released to appear in court on a later date.
Fraud
On February 1st, an adult suspect in a fraud investigation was identified, located and arrested on related charges. This person was released to appear in court on April 9th 2026.
Failure to Comply with Court Order
At 8:17pm on February 1st, Patrol officers were called to report of a disturbance at a residence in the 700 block of 6th street. Police attended and arrested an adult who was found to be violating the conditions of her Release Order. She was arrested and held to appear in Court.
Aggravated Assault
On January 7th 2026, Patrol Section entered into the investigation of a serious assault which occurred at the Brandon Correctional Center. The victim, an inmate at BCC suffered severe injuries after being assaulted by other inmates while in custody. On February 1st, 2026, several suspects were arrested for aggravated assault. They remain in the custody of MB Corrections awaiting their court date.
