Police have identified the shooter in the mass school shooting that left 9 dead, 27 injured.
18-year old Jesse Van Rootselaar, was found dead of a ‘self-inflicted injury’ at the school;
Police believe she also killed her mother and a 11-year old sibling;
At the school, A 39- year old female teacher, 3- girls, all 12, and two boys-one 12 and one 13-died in this shooting.

The Mb Government has launched a grocery study targeting predatory pricing.
Premier Wab Kinew says this study is about going after the practices that are driving up prices and making sure grocery prices work for people, not against them.
Manitoba is taking the lead in launching this first comprehensive, province-led study. No date has been set to release the results.

Canadian Auto thefts are down 18% year-over-year but the recovery of the stolen vehicles; remains low.
The analysis finds that 47,000 thefts were reported but more than a third of those were never recovered.
Quebec saw the largest reduction in auto thefts at 25 per cent, followed by Ontario at 22 per cent and Western Canada at 11 per cent.

Van Der Beek, a heartthrob who played Dawson Leery in the TV Series-Dawson’s Creek.
He revealed in 2024 that he was being treated for colorectal cancer.
