The Manitoba Métis Federation is one step closer to having a self-government treaty with the federal government.
Bill C-21; was introduced Thursday.
If it passes, it would be the first self-government treaty with any Métis government in Canada.

The Brandon Humane Society is hosting its first-ever cat café at a Brandon based yoga studio; Luna Muna on Valentine’s Day.
It is the purfect cat lovers Valentines’s date!
The Humane Society says the studio, located at 30 Fieldstone Cresent has partnered with the shelter to host cat yoga events before.

A Virden auctioneer is taking his shot at a world title this spring.
36- yearold Brennin Jack is the Runner-Up Champion at a recent competition in North Dakota, now he’s slated to compete at the World Livestock Auctioneer event in June.
This will make it his 11th shot in a row aiming for the title of World Livestock Auctioneer Champion in South Dakota.
Auctioneering is a calling, literally and a challenge Jack enjoys.
