A 55-year old Winnipeg man is facing charges after RCMP allege; he posted multiple on-line threats; targeting Prime Minister Mark Carney.
RCMP say a national security investigation began in January into a user on X, formerly known as Twitter. Police arrested Jason Paul Rindall of Winnipeg February 13th.
They say along with threats targeting Carney, the account also made posts inciting hatred towards Jewish and Muslim Communities. Rindall remains in custody; his next court appearance is March 13th.

British Columbians will adopt a year-round daylight time, springing forward by one hour this Sunday; for the last time.
BC’s Premier says the decision is about making life easier for families, reducing disruptions for businesses and supporting a stable, thriving economy.
This decision means that B.C. will transition to Pacific time, the same time zone as the Yukon, and will match Alberta from November to March.
