The National Hockey League announced Monday that Calgary, and Edmonton will co-host the 2028 World Cup of Hockey. The NHL and NHL-P-A plan for an expanded eight-nation tournament that will be held in February of 2028.

In Women’s World Curling in Calgary: Canada’s Kerri Einerson beat Denmark on Monday afternoon in the 13-country event; The score 9-6.
