Portage la Prairie RCMP Searching for Missing Woman Last Seen March 16
Portage la Prairie RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating 40‑year‑old Leah Hope Dodd, who has been reported missing and has not been seen since earlier this week. Officers received the report on March 19, three days after Dodd was last spotted at her residence on Tupper Street North in Portage la Prairie.
Dodd is described as 5’5”, with a medium build, brown hair, and green eyes. Police believe she may be travelling in a blue 2009 Chevrolet Trailblazer, and say they are concerned for her well‑being. RCMP have not released further details about the circumstances of her disappearance but note that it is unusual for her to be out of contact for this length of time.
Investigators are urging anyone who may have seen Dodd, her vehicle, or who may have information about her whereabouts to come forward. Tips can be provided directly to the Portage la Prairie RCMP at 204‑857‑8767, or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1‑800‑222‑8477 or online at manitobacrimestoppers.com.
Police continue to follow up on leads and are asking residents in the area to check home security cameras, dashcams, and rural properties for any possible sightings.
A photo of Dodd and the vehicle she could possibly be using has been released to assist in the search.
