Breach of the Peace
In the past 24 hours four individuals were arrested for Breach of the Peace. They will be released in the morning once calm/sober.
Arrest Warrants
Over the past 24 hours, five individuals were arrested on the strength of their Warrants for Arrest. One individual was held in custody for a court appearance in the morning. Three others were released on an Appearance Notice/Undertaking with scheduled future court dates. The fifth individual had his warrant executed and was transported to Brandon Correctional Centre (BCC) due to a Parole Revocation.
Immediate Roadside Prohibition
On April 14th at 1:39 a.m. a traffic stop was initiated near Mockingbird and Braecrest Drive. The driver was identified by photo ID and proceeded to fail the ASD (Approved Screening Device) twice. The 23-year-old female was issued an Immediate Roadside Prohibition notice with a 90-day drivers licence suspension and 30-day vehicle seizure. The vehicle was towed.
Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle
On February 28th, 2026, a BPS officer observed a vehicle on Willowdale Crescent reversing rapidly from a business parking stall with a female hanging out from the front passenger side door. The female was left in the parking lot and the vehicle fled northbound on 26th Street. The vehicle failed to regard red lights, stop signs, police emergency lights and drove on the wrong side of a divided road. Surveillance footage was obtained, and the suspect was later identified.
On April 13th, 2026, the 19-year-old male was located in custody at Brandon Correctional Centre and charged. He is scheduled to attend court this morning on April 14th,2026.
Break & Enter
On April 13th police received a report that suspects had entered a compound in the 2200 block of Park Avenue sometime over the weekend and stole keys to off-road vehicles.

Assault & Weapons Incident
At 2:29 p.m. on April 13th, a 68-year-old male resident reported that an unknown female approached him in the back lane of Hill Avenue, yelling and screaming, before lunging at him while armed with a knife. The male was able to evade the female.
Further investigation revealed that a second victim had been assaulted by the same suspect in the 1200 block of 5th Street, resulting in a laceration to her arm. The 30-year-old victim was transported to hospital for care by a family member. A third person reported being threatened by the suspect in the 400 block of Brandon Avenue.
Police quickly located the accused in the 400 block of College Avenue, where the 20-year-old female was taken into custody without incident. She was still in possession of the knife at the time of arrest. The female was bound by an Undertaking with a condition not to possess any weapons.
While in custody at Brandon Police Service detention cells, the accused damaged a detention-issued iPhone during a call with her lawyer. She is facing charges of Possession of a Weapon, Assault with a Weapon (x2), Uttering Threats, Failure to Comply with an Undertaking, and Mischief Under $5,000.
