Dauphin RCMP have arrested and charged a 44‑year‑old man twice in less than 72 hours following two separate incidents near the same residence.
The first arrest occurred on April 17 at approximately 1:10 a.m., when officers were dispatched to a disturbance in progress at a home in Dauphin. Upon arrival, police located a male suspect outside the residence. According to RCMP, the man was immediately uncooperative and resisted officers’ attempts to take him into custody. After a brief struggle, he was handcuffed, though he continued to resist—refusing to get into the police vehicle and ignoring commands once transported to the detachment.
A search of the suspect led to the discovery of several wrapped packets containing a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine, along with drug paraphernalia and cash. He appeared in court later that day and was released on conditions.

Just three days later, on April 20 at around 12:35 a.m., officers encountered the same man near the same residence. RCMP say he was found breaching the conditions of his release and was arrested once again. This time, he was held in custody pending a court appearance.
Tomson Rodney Flatfoot, 44, of Dauphin, faces multiple charges including assault, resisting or obstructing a peace officer (two counts), possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and four counts of failing to comply with a release order.
RCMP continue to investigate.
