Manitoba is currently dealing with a wide range of drinking‑water advisories, with more than a dozen communities and small systems under boil‑water orders as of June 8, 2026. The newest additions include Angusville, Kenton, Langruth, and Minitonas — the latter hit hard by flash flooding that forced roughly 150 people from their homes.
The province’s advisory list shows boil‑water notices in place across Prairie Mountain, Southern, Northern, and Interlake‑Eastern health regions. Most are considered short‑term, though several long‑term advisories remain in effect for small private systems and remote communities.
In addition to boil‑water advisories, one public system — Keeshkeemaquah Campground & RV Park — is under a Drinking Water Avoidance Advisory, meaning water should not be consumed under any circumstances.
The province says crews are working with local authorities to restore safe drinking water, assess infrastructure damage, and support affected residents. Officials note that conditions can change quickly, and residents should monitor updates from their regional health authority.
A full list of advisories is available through the province’s water advisory portal.
