RCMP have issued a warrant for the arrest of a 37-year-old Carman woman, after a man was assaulted, tied up, and robbed of his vehicle earlier this week.
According to RCMP, their Carman detachment got a report at about 9:05 PM on July 20 that a woman living on a residential property in Carman had approached the 59-year-old male who owns the property, demanded the keys to his truck and then began to assault him when he refused. The suspect then bound his hands together with cords and duct tape, stole his keys, wallet, money and some tools, and drove away in the truck.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries. The truck has since been recovered by RCMP but efforts to locate the suspect have so far been unsuccessful.
RCMP have issued a warrant of arrest for Miranda Geras, a 37-year-old woman from Carman, in connection with this incident. Geras is about 5’2”, with a medium build, brown hair and green eyes.
