Manitoba RCMP have released a photo of a suspect and are asking for the public’s help after a theft of several items from a cottage in the RM of Louise, not far from Highway 440.
According to police, they were alerted to the theft on August 11. Surveillance video of the property revealed an unknown male had walked onto the property at about 2:30 p.m. that day while covering his face and holding power tools.
Police said a suspect opened a locked shipping container door using a grinder and took several items, including a 1982 Honda ATC200 all-terrain vehicle, a Honda EU2000i generator and a Stihl FS90 trimmer. One of two Spypoint trail cameras were also taken.
RCMP are looking for the suspect in this incident, who is described as being bald, wearing construction boots, blue shorts and a blue-grey Under Armor shirt.
