Arrest Warrants
In the past 24 hours three individuals were arrested on the strength of their Warrants for Arrest. Two were held in Brandon Police Service (BPS) detention cells for court in the morning on August 20th, while one turned himself in at another agency on BPS Warrants.
Failure to Comply Release Order / Possession of a Weapon
On August 20th at 2:26 a.m., a traffic stop was conducted in the 400 block of Princess Avenue. The 29-year-old male driver was suspended from driving and was found to be in possession of brass knuckles and throwing stars. He is currently under conditions prohibiting him from possessing weapons. The male was arrested and transported to BPS detention cells. He will appear in court on the morning of August 20th, 2026.
Stolen Vehicle Recovered
On August 19th at 6:51 a.m., a report of a suspiciously parked vehicle was received by BPS. Police attended and located the unoccupied vehicle on Deer Ridge Road, just north of #1 Highway. The vehicle was confirmed to have been listed as stolen. It was towed to BPS for forensic examination. The registered owner was notified. The investigation is ongoing.
