On Thursday (Aug. 5) night Brandon police got a call about a man pointing a gun in the 300 block of 6th Street.
Officer say their investigation led them to a nearby house, where an airsoft pistol was located. The suspect, a 31-year-old man, was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service. He will appear in court Friday (Aug. 6) on charges of Possession of a Weapon, Fail to Comply with Release Order X3, and Fail to Comply with Probation Order.
Also arrested was a 22-year-old man who was inside the residence causing problems due to his level of intoxication. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober. Neither suspects were residents of the home.

On August 6, 2021 shortly after 4:00 am, police responded to a report of a disturbance at a home. Several individuals attended to the residence but were turned away. In response, they broke a window before leaving.
Police located three of the individuals.. the first, a 20-year-old man responsible for damaging the window was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober. He will appear in court in October on a charge of Mischief to Property.
The second suspect, a 22-year-old man was found to be on conditions to abstain from the consumption of alcohol. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober and will appear in court in October on a charge of Fail to Comply with Recognizance.
The third suspect, a 24-year-old woman, was found to be intoxicated and continuing to cause problems. She was arrested and lodged until sober to prevent any further issues.

On August 5, 2021, police responded to a report of the theft of a trailer from the 1900 block of 34th Street North. Suspects are believed to have stolen the 2009 Hallmark 5 X 9 enclosed trailer between August 4 and August 5. The trailer has a Manitoba licence of X028Z, and a faded Harley Davidson logo on the back.

On August 5, 2021, at 1:00 pm, police responded to a report of an assault in a residence. The victim did not require medical attention. The 55-year-old man was arrested at the home. He was later released to appear in court in October on a charge of Assault.

On August 5, 2021, at 11:00 am, police responded to a report of unwanted individuals in a residence. One of the individual was to abide by a 24-hour curfew. The 23-year-old man was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and appeared in court the same day.

On August 5, 2021 shortly after 4:00 pm, police responded to a report of a man passed out at the intersection of 18th and Kirkaldy Dr. The 27-year-old man was found to be in no condition to care for himself, and he had nowhere to go. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On August 5, 2021 shortly before 8:00 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated woman in the 1000 block of 7th street. The 33-year-old was in no condition to care for herself, and had no one to watch over her. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On August 6, 2021, police located and arrested a 45-year-old man who was wanted on outstanding charges of Assault. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court Friday (Aug 6).
