Organizer Sherri Grieve says the event is also a fundraiser. She says Big Brothers Big Sisters is trying to expand right now. “We want to go out to Rivers, and Carberry and hopefully out to Virden, areas like that. We have in-school mentoring, Big for a Day, the traditional matches and couples matches, so (money raised) goes to all those programs.”
The Haunted House will be open tonight (Oct 21) between 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm – and on Friday, October 22nd and Saturday October 23rd between 6:00 pm and 11:00 pm. Tickets are $8.00 for everyone 12 years of age and up – and $5.00 for those 11 and under.

Grieve says there’s a special ‘No Scare’ hour between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm for the little ghosts and goblins. “We had out candy for the kids and we’re still in costume at the time, but we’re not going to jump out and wear our scary masks or anything like that – it’s friendlier music – friendlier atmosphere.”

Provincial COVID-19 health restrictions will be enforced, so Grieve says to remember to bring your mask, you must be fully vaccinated and children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
