Brandon police made an arrest on Wednesday, October 27th, in connection with a theft from a camper in the 2200 block of Princess Avenue. Police say a 24-year-old woman was allegedly found nearby in possession of items from the camper. She was released on a Appearance Notice to appear in Brandon Court on 10th December 2021.

Also on Wednesday, October 27th, Brandon police arrested a 33-year-old man on child pornography charges. Police say officers checking on the man allegedly discoverd images on his lap top computer in contravention of his court order. The suspect is to appear in court today (Oct 28) to answer to the charge.

Early Thursday morning, October 28th, Brandon police located a 34-year-old man in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue, who officers say was allegedly in breach of a curfew. Police say he also had canister of bear spray. The suspect is to appear in court today (Oct 28).

On Wednesday, October 27th, at approximately 2237 hrs, police received a complaint from a business in the 700 block of 18th Street that a donation can was stolen from within the business. Police say they used video surveillance to identify a suspect, and a 22-year-old woman was arrested in the 800 block of 16th Street at approximately 0316 hrs. The suspect is to appear in court on December 30th, 2021.

Over the last 24 hours police also say there were two females and a male lodged under the Intoxicated Persons Detention Act (IDPA), and one female for Breach of the Peace.
