On March 13, 2022, Brandon police responded to a report of a business in in the 1800 block of Middleton Avenue, which had been spray-painted the evening prior. Security footage from the business assisted police in identifying the suspect. Police later located and arrested the 28-year-old male suspect. He was released to appear in court on May 9, 2022 on a charge of Mischief to Property.

On February 26, 2022, police received a report of an assault, which occurred in a residence on February 15, 2022. The victim did not require medical attention from the incident. Police located and arrested the 27-year-old male suspect. He was later released and will appear in court on May 16, 2022 on a charge of Assault.

On March 13, 2022, shortly after 3:00 pm, Brandon police responded to a report of a male who was causing a disturbance in a business in the 1300 block of 18th Street, by throwing things around. Employees attempted to get the male to leave, but he would not comply. Police arrested the 35-year-old male who was allegedly under the influence of illicit drugs. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober to prevent his actions from continuing.

On March 12, 2022, police responded to a report of the theft of merchandise from a business in the 900 block of 18th Street N. Security footage from the business assisted police in identifying the 28-year-old suspect. Police located and arrested the suspect on March 13, 2022. Police say he was allegedly still in possession of the stolen merchandise. He was later released to appear in court on May 24, 2022 on a charge of Theft Under $5000.

On March 13, 2022, police responded to a report of two individuals sleeping in a business washroom in the 2800 block of Victoria Avenue shortly before midnight. Employees requested police assistance in removing the suspects. Police learned that one of the suspects was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court. A 27-year-old woman was arrested and later released to appear in court on May 1, 2022.

On March 14, 2022 at approximately 5:30 am, Brandon police responded to a report from other City of Brandon Employees of two unauthorized individuals at the Eastview Landfill. Police located the suspects, one of whom, a 49-year-old male, was to abide by a curfew. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service was to appear in court today on a charge of Fail to Comply with Release Order.
