UPDATE:
Manitoba RCMP say on May 29, 2022, Steven Froese was located deceased in the water near Highway 23 located west of Morris. No criminality is suspected in his death.
The RCMP thanks the public and the media for their assistance.

ORIGINAL RELEASE:
Morris RCMP searching for missing 25-year-old male.
On May 25, 2022, at approximately 11:35 pm, Morris RCMP received a report of an abandoned vehicle on a closed section of Highway 23, located approximately 2 kilometres west of Morris.
Efforts to locate the owner of the vehicle were carried out without success.
RCMP are requesting assistance in locating 25-year-old Steven Froese who was last seen walking eastbound away from this vehicle.
Froese is described as 5’10”, 260 lbs with short brown hair and hazel coloured eyes.
