Local groups working on projects to provide housing to help ease Brandon’s homelessness situation are encouraged to apply for the last $90,000 available in federal funding.
The Brandon Neighbourhood Renewal Corporation will distribute the money. It says non-profits, some for-profit Indigenous organizations, as well as municipalities can apply.
The application deadline is October 6, at 4:30 pm. The program is set to expire at the end of next March.
