On September 24, 2023, at approximately 6:00 pm, Brandon police responded to a report of a male breaking into a residence in the 000 block of Willowdale Crescent. They say he allegedly threatened to kill a female occupant. Police attended and arrested the 35-year-old male. Police say on the previous day, the male suspect reportedly assaulted and choked the female in her home, as he prevented her from leaving. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on charges of Break and Enter with Intent to commit Assault, Forcible Confinement, Assault by Choking, Uttering Threats and Assault.

On September 24, 2023, police responded to a report of the theft of a bicycle from Wren Crescent. Police say officers located the stolen bicycle and a second stolen bike in the possession of a 48-year-old male. The male was arrested and later released to appear in court on November 27, 2023, on charges of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime X2.

On September 24, 2023, Brandon police responded to a report of a break and enter to a shed in the 800 block of 11th street. Suspects forced their way inside overnight and stole a set of four studded tires, which were located a short distance away. On September 24, 2023, police conducted a traffic stop on Driedger Bay at approximately 1:00 pm. One of the occupants was found to be breaching a court ordered condition and arrested. The 25-year-old male was lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today on charges of Fail to Comply with Release Order.
