On September 24, 2023, police received a report of a female repeatedly scanning multiple low value items while placing much higher value items into her shopping bag at the self-checkout at a business in the 2600 block of Victoria Avenue. The business had security footage of the same female doing the same action on September 12 and September 18. Police located and arrested the 32-year-old female at her residence on September 25, 2023. She was released to appear in court on November 20, 2023, on charges of Fraud Under $5000 X3.

On September 24, 2023, Brandon police received a report of a break and enter to a business in the 800 block of Rosser Avenue. Employees had security footage of a 29-year-old male prying a door. The male was to abide by conditions not to attend the business. On September 25, 2023, the suspect was located at Brandon Correction Centre where he was being held on another matter. He will appear in court today on charges of Break and Enter and Fail to Comply with Undertaking.

On September 25, 2023, shortly before 9:00 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated female who was screaming and swearing while banging on a residential door in the Westaway Bay area. The 32-year-old female suspect was with a 3-year-old child at the time. She was in no condition to care for herself or the child. She was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service to be released when sober. The child was taken to responsible and sober adults.

On September 25, 2023, shortly after 11:00 pm, Brandon police responded to a report of an intoxicated female at a construction site in the 500 block of Dennis Street. The 25-year-old female climbed a 15 ft crane. Officers were able to convince her to climb down safely. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On September 25, 2023, at approximately 10:30 am, police responded to a report of an intoxicated female near the train tracks in the 100 block of Pacific Avenue. Police located the 24-year-old female who was in no condition to care for herself. She was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
