Manitoba Superstore workers, including employees in Brandon, have ratified a new five-year contract.
It includes a 5.6% retroactive wage increase – a 3.3% raise next March – and another 7% in wage hikes over the final three years of the deal.
The contract also includes signing bonuses, some wage top-ups and more flexible scheduling.
United Food and Commercial Workers Local 832 is now focused on obtaining a new deal for 400 workers at 11 No Frills stores in Manitoba.
