On October 22, 2023, Brandon police responded to a report of damage to a vehicle. Investigation revealed that following an argument between two males, one male allegedly threw a potted plant through a vehicle window belonging to the other male and ran into a house. A 23-year-old man was arrested and later released to appear in court on December 4, 2023, on a charge of Mischief Under $5000.

On October 22, 2023, shortly after 1:00 pm, police came across a 41-year-old male pedestrian in the 1500 block of Van Horne Avenue who officer say was in possession of a hunting knife contrary to a court order forbidding him from possessing weapons. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service following his arrest and will appear in court today on charges of Fail to Comply with Probation and Possess Weapon.

-On October 22, 2023, a 32-year-old male attended Brandon Police Service as he was aware he was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court. He was later released to appear in court on November 2, 2023.
-On October 22, 2023, at approximately 7:30 am, an off-duty police officer observed a 28-year-old female in the area of 34th street and McDirmid Drive checking around private property. The officer recognized the female to be wanted and arrested her. She was turned over to on duty members and lodged at Brandon Police Service to appear in court today on charges of Fraud X5, Theft Under $5000 X2, Theft of Mail, Use Stolen Credit Card X4, Fraud Use of Credit Card X2, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime X3, Mischief Over $5000 and Fail to Attend Court.
-On October 22, 2023, police located and arrested a 30-yaer-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Assault with a Weapon and Assault. He was later released to appear in court on December 18, 2023.

On October 22, 2023, at approximately 6:00 pm, Brandon police received a report of an intoxicated male at a business in the 1500 block of 18th Street. The male’s behavior was making other customers uncomfortable before he laid down in the washroom. The 36-year-old male was in no condition to care for himself and was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

They were unable to prevent his behavior from continuing and his behavior was causing concern. He as arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
