It’s ‘Beef Week’ in Brandon. The City of Brandon made the declaration to coincide with the 50th Manitoba AG EX at the Keystone Centre.
MB AG EX Chair, Dallas Johnston, and Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba, General Manager, Mark Humphries joined Mayor, Jeff Fawcett for the signing of the proclamation at Brandon City Hall.
“We appreciate the city recognizing this industry with this proclamation,” says Johnston. “The Manitoba beef industry has been and always will be a vital part of Western Manitoba’s economy. Producers in the province take great pride in producing world class beef and we look forward to hosting them at this year’s AG EX.”
This year’s AG EX is hosting the Nationals for Simmental, Shorthorn and Hereford Westerns, Angus, Charolais, in addition to Speckle Park, Limousin and Highland display.
