A narrow, intense band of snow has developed over southeastern Saskatchewan, western Manitoba and through the Interlake region of Manitoba.
Webcams are indicating heavy, rapidly accumulating snowfall within this intense band of snow. Snowfall amounts of 10 to 15 cm are expected.
Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions.
The snow is expected to end late this morning then clearing, but there will be a gusty northwest wind up to 50 kmh. The temperature will hold steady near zero.
Friday is looking mainly sunny with a high near plus 4.
