On 2023-11-15, a female victim attended to Brandon Police Service to disclose that she had been previously assaulted by her common-law partner which resulted in a minor injury that did not require medical attention. The 38-year-old male suspect was later arrested and found to be in violation of his parole which will require his appearance in court 2023-11-16.

On the afternoon of 2023-11-15, police conducted a pedestrian stop with an individual in the 1700 block of Rosser Avenue. A check of police records revealed an outstanding warrant. The 39-year-old male has been lodged at BPS to appear in court 2023-11-16.

On the afternoon of 2023-11-15, Brandon police attended to a business in the 1400 block of 1st Street N after receiving a report from staff that a female was causing a disturbance and refusing to leave when requested. During the encounter with police, the 32-year-old female allegedly kicked and spat on the arresting officer. No injuries were sustained to the officer, and the accused was lodged at BPS to be released in the morning with conditions to appear in court 2024-01-22, for the charge of Assault Police Officer.

On 2023-09-18, a female attended to Brandon Police Service to report several accounts of violence by her spouse. Police say the assaults allegedly included physical abuse, being threatened with a knife and being shot with a BB gun. Police say an additional adult female victim was also identified, and had also allegedly been physically abused by the same suspect. On 2023-11-15, a 22-year-old male was arrested and released with conditions to appear in court 2024-01-25 for the charges of Assault X2, Assault with a Weapon, and Uttering Threats.

On the evening of 2023-11-15, police conducted a traffic stop with an unregistered vehicle near 18th Street and McGregor Avenue. Police say the 26-year-old female operator was determined to be intoxicated by alcohol and has been released with conditions to appear in court 2023-11-20 for the charges of Impaired Driving and Drive Over .08.
