“An early application is a great way for future BU students to take the first step towards their degree,” said BU Director of Recruitment Leanne Barcellona. “With your application complete, you can start to make your plans for next year, or stay focused worry-free on completing high school.”
Early applications also have other benefits, she noted. Beating the spring rush means students can have their admission confirmed as swiftly as possible and ensures that students have every opportunity to` qualify for early scholarships.
The one-day fee holiday is open to all Canadian students, who would normally pay a $70 application fee, which helps cover the costs of processing.
“With the holiday season coming up, dollars can be tight, so we’re happy to extend a helping hand,” Barcellona said, adding that she hoped to attract many new applicants. “We’re a great school, with a great community, but if you’re unfamiliar with us or with university in general, here’s a risk-free day to send in an application. We could be exactly what you’re looking for!”
To get the deal, all students need to do is apply and the discount will be offered to all Canadian applicants automatically. The promotion will run from midnight to midnight (Brandon time CST) on Friday, Nov. 24, 2023. If you encounter an issue, make sure your payment method is selected as “Black Friday”.
