On December 4, 2023, at approximately 10:42 am, Brandon police responded with BFES to a structure fire in a multi-unit residence in the 100 block of 12th street. The tenants were evacuated, and the fire was contained. There were no reported injuries. The fire is believed to have been caused due to electrical work which was being completed at the time. The building is in the same block where an arson fire destroyed a structure containing two businesses and several rental suites last month.

On December 4, 2023, shortly before 9:00 pm, police responded to a report of an intoxicated male causing problems in a residence. Police say other individuals in the home were unable to prevent the actions of the 23-year-old male from escalating, so he was no longer welcome. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.

On December 4, 2023, shortly after 10:00 pm, Brandon police responded to a report of an intoxicated male in the 1300 block of Assiniboine Avenue. Officers report the 18-year-old male was in no condition to care for himself, and there was no one to look after him. He was lodged at Brandon Police Service until sober.
