On the morning of 2023-12-11, a 38-year-old female reported to Brandon police that she was previously assaulted by her spouse. A 37-year-old male was subsequently arrested and lodged at BPS to appear in court 2023-12-12 for the charge of assault.

On the evening of 2023-12-11, police conducted a pedestrian stop in the 700 block of Rosser Avenue, as an individual was urinating in public. During the interaction, the 37-year-old male was discovered to be in possession of an axe, hammer and knife. The accused has been released from police custody with conditions to appear in court 2024-02-22 for the charge of possession of a weapon.
