On January 29th, 2024, at 08:22 am, Brandon Police were called to the 2100 block of Currie Boulevard for a report of a suspicious male that was lurking around vehicles in the area. Police say officers located a 21-year-old intoxicated male. He was arrested and will be released in the morning.

On January 29th, 2024, at 2:45 pm, Police were notified by the Sheriffs department they had a male in custody who had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. A 35-year-old male was arrested and held for court on January 30th, 2024.

On January 29th, 2024, at 10:08 pm, Police attended to a residence in the 300 block of 10th Street as they were aware the resident had an outstanding warrant for failing to attend for fingerprints. A 25-year-old male was arrested and released for court on Feb 29th, 2024.

On January 29th, 2024, at 03:15 am, Police were called to business in the 800 block of 1st Street for a report of a shoplifter. Police say a female had allegedly stolen $120 worth of merchandise and fled the business. Police located a 31-year-old female hiding in the area with the stolen items. She was arrested and released for court on April 22, 2024.
