How cool is this? Mattel has created a Shania Twain Barbie immortalizing her in the 65th anniversary of Barbie. This just 2 days before International Women’s Day on Friday March 8, 2024.
Here in Q Country, we have so many strong women that are worthy of recognition. Like Barb McNish of Samaritan House. Barb is on the front lines helping the homeless, the hungry, and the helpless in Westman. We could also salute Cynamon Mychasiw of Brandon’s United Way, without Cynamon and her strong team of women, there would be no way for non-profits in our city to operate! I would like to also salute Arlene Taggert, she is a Special Olympics Westman 10-pin Bowling Coach, guiding our Special Olympians to greatness on and off the lanes! She has been a mainstay in Brandon at the local bowling alley for more than 20-years! Thank you to each and every woman in Westman that has made a difference in our community, selflessly like these strong women highlighted here!
