Jackson Keane of the Winnipeg Blues was the lone MJHLer to make the grade for Canada West for the World Junior ‘A’ Hockey Challenge.
Keane is fifth in league scoring with 12 goals and 35 points in 28 games.
The World Junior ‘A’ Challenge starts Sunday in Kindersley, Saskatchewan with Medora’s Trent Cassan the head coach of Canada West, while Birtle’s Marc Berry is serving as his assistant.
