-Tickets for Game 3 of Stanley Cup final in Edmonton between the Oilers and Florida Panthers on June 13th sold out within minutes this week. Word is fans can still grab seats through online ticket brokers, but should be prepared to pony up. Seats are listed online at between $1,200 and $7,500. The Game 1 watch party at Rogers Place this Saturday is also sold-out.
-The Winnipeg Blue Bombers kick-off the regular season tonight at home against the Montreal Alouettes. It’s a rematch of the 2023 Grey Cup game which Montreal won 28-24.
-The South West Baseball League resumes on Friday with three games. The Oak River Dodgers welcome the Elkhorn Expos, the Wawanesa Brewers are in Deloraine against the Royals, and the Virden Oilers visit the Reston Rockets.
-The Blue Jays beat the Orioles 3-2. Toronto has won six of its last nine games.
-and the Dallas Mavericks are in Boston against the Celtics for Game 1 of the NBA Championship final.
