Brandon Sobeys South reportedly had another refrigeration failure Wednesday night and the building was evacuated. This comes after the store was closed this past Monday due to a compressor leak.
A social media post says fresh products were moved to refrigerated trailers, and those departments will remain closed today. The store opened at 7:00 this morning, but customers will only have access to Starbucks and the grocery department. The post apologizes for the inconvenience adding that staff has been “running on fumes to try and not only serve, but serve our customers safely.”
There was no cause given for this latest outage, and no report of any injuries.
