Arrest Warrants
On July 17th police located and arrested several individuals throughout the day who were wanted on outstanding charges:
A 36-year-old female was arrested and lodged overnight on a failure to attend court charge. Court date set for the morning on July 18th, 2024.
A 36-year-old male was arrested and lodged overnight on Failure to Comply with Conditional Sentence Order. Court date set for the morning on July 18th, 2024.
Break & Enter / Theft
On May 20th, 2024 police received a report of a break and enter to an establishment in Carberry on 5th Street. The suspect was observed on video. On July 17th Brandon police located and identified the 30-year-old male after being the subject of an IPDA complaint. He was arrested for the Break & Enter / Theft and lodged. Court date set for the morning on July 18th, 2024.
Theft Under $5000
On July 17th at 5:30PM police received a report of a theft from an establishment in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue. A police officer attended and identified the suspect on video. At 9:48PM an officer located the 32-year-old male and arrested him for theft. The male was lodged with a court date set for the morning on July 18th, 2024.
Taxi Robbery
On July 17th at 9:25PM police received a report of a theft of a wallet by two females from a taxi. Further investigation revealed that the two females allegedly argued with the taxi driver then assaulted him and stole his wallet and his identification. Police continue to investigate. Domestic Assault / Breach of Probation X2
On the evening of July 17th police were advised to check on a residence in Cornell Bay. Upon arrival police found a male and female who had been in an argument. Officers say the female showed signs of physical abuse. The 23-year-old male was arrested and lodged with a court date set for the morning on July 18th, 2024.
