The City of Brandon says milling has concluded on 18th Street between the CN rail line (by Park Avenue) and Rosser Avenue.
Paving will continue with the first lift of asphalt in the northbound left lanes and finally moving into both northbound lanes. This will affect traffic flow at the intersection of Victoria Avenue with intermittent full closures as the paving crew pushes through the intersection. The official detour is via 13th Street, Richmond Avenue and 26th Street.
Work will continue south of the CN Rail line to south of Aberdeen Avenue in the Spring of 2025.
More information on the staging of Phase 2 will be communicated leading up to the resumption date in the Spring.
