The City of Brandon says with ongoing snow and winds, crews are out addressing drifting and spot clearing as required.
–Priority Route plowing will begin once the snow has stopped, and wind dies down.
–Sanding trucks are operating 24 hours.
–Loaders are opening up bike paths to maintain accessibility for pedestrians and cyclists
–Sidewalk clearing units are working in areas known to be problematic for drifting, as well as around schools.
Please note: Crews are currently focusing only on problem areas. They will begin a plowing event once the precipitation and winds have stopped.
Plowing events begin with Priority Routes, and are then followed by residential zone clearing. Learn more at https://www.brandon.ca/snow-removal
