-The Winnipeg Jets return to the ice tonight when they host the Golden Knights. The Jets and Wild top the NHL Central each with 42 points.
-The Brandon Wheat Kings are on the road this weekend for two games in Saskatchewan against the Prince Albert Raiders and Saskatoon Blades.
-Sara Manness and Kate Manness of La Salle and Hayley McDonald of East St. Paul will play for Team Canada at the 2025 World U18 Women’s Hockey Championship in Vantaa, Finland. Canada will face the host Finns in their lone pre-tournament game on January 1st. Team Canada will play its preliminary round opener on January 4th against Slovakia. Canada captured bronze at the 2024 World Championship in Zug, Switzerland.
