The Manitoba government is proud to join thousands of agriculture producers, manufacturers, processors and retailers who will arrive this week in Brandon to celebrate the 48th Annual Manitoba Ag Days, Canada’s largest indoor farm show, Agriculture Minister Ron Kostyshyn announced today.
“The men and women who drive Manitoba’s agribusiness sector help contribute over $4 billion to the province’s economy and deserve our gratitude and respect,” said Kostyshyn. “Manitoba farmers in particular embody resilience and hard work, ensuring food security and economic growth for our province. Our government will continue to bolster this vital sector with strategic investments in innovation, research and job creation, positioning Manitoba as a leader in agricultural excellence.”
Ag Days brings together members of the agriculture community from across North America to learn, network and create excitement and optimism for the upcoming growing season. New this year is a one-of-a-kind vendor’s market featuring different local food and beverage products each day.
Innovation and advancement of technology remain highlights of the event and this year’s innovation showcase will be the largest ever, with seven categories and 34 contenders, the minister noted.
“The dedication of producers to sustainability, innovation and resilience is building a stronger Manitoba,” said Kostyshyn. “Events like Ag Days underscore our government’s commitment to supporting this critical sector as we address challenges like climate change and fluctuating market conditions.”
Manitoba Ag Days 2025 runs from Jan. 21 to 23 at the Keystone Centre in Brandon.
