-The Brandon Wheat Kings beat the Prince Albert Raiders 5-2 last night. The Wheat Kings 5th straight win puts them in first place in the East Division, one point ahead of the Raiders. Brandon is back in action Friday when they host the Calgary Hitmen.
-The Brandon AAA U18 Wheat Kings play their final game of the regular season tonight when they welcome the Parkland Rangers to J&G Homes Arena.
-In the Professional Women’s Hockey League yesterday – Minnesota shutout Montreal 4-0.
-Rachel Homan’s Team Canada remains unbeaten at 5-and-0 at the Scotties to sit atop Pool A. Manitoba’s Kerri Einarson, Kate Cameron and Kaitlyn Lawes are 4th, 5th and 6th in Pool B. Nova Scotia and Ontario share the lead at 4-and-1.
