A sure sign of spring is City of Brandon street sweepers out on the roads.
The city’s day crew will begin on Richmond Avenue, West of 18th then move onto 26th, and 34th, and the night crew will begin sweeping Rosser Avenue and Princess Avenue from 1st to 18th tonight at midnight.
After these stretches are complete, crews will focus their work on other arterial and collector streets that fall on our Priority 1 Routes before moving into residential. Double shifting is expected to last at least a month followed by another month of day shifts only.
